Looks like Brian did a good job on todays update… He keeps us all laughing…
We continued working on the roof today. Most of the roof panels are now painted blue and we should have all the rafters up tomorrow.
We mixed a lot of concrete today and finished most of that work.
Everyone enjoyed lunch at Yurra’s… We had Borsch..(Not sure on spelling) it was a beet soup.. Very good..Ken loved it! … We also found out that Ken won’t eat anything creamy or dairy… We have fun with that one…
It has been neat watching everyone interact and enjoy serving.
Each team member has been so willing to do any job.. This is a solid group.. You all can be very proud.
God Bless!

Great to hear from the Motley Crew and great to hear that Art worked with the Crew even though he is a lifetime member of the Band of brothers! The weather forecast looks great for the rest of your trip and it sounds like Max “the Matador” is tugging on your hearts and impressing you with his work ethic as he did us.
God bless, Jay

Josh, it sounds like you guys were doing your line of work today! Aiden says hi, he is not sleeping right now like he is supposed to be doing…just smiling so sweetly, which makes it hard to put him down. We love you lots and hope all goes well with everything! Love You and Goodnight, Cassie and Aiden!

Morning guys! Thanks again for the update. You know, it’s funny, I know who’s writing the updates without you guys even telling me! It’s hilarious! I am so glad the construction is going so well. Ken said you guys are working so very hard but having so much fun as a team while doing it. What a blessing. Ken’s eating habits are a great source of “fun” at our house too. Don’t let him kid you though…..He eats cheese on pizza AND I saw him eat a cheeseburger a week ago!!!! I think we’ve almost converted him!!! Ken, we love you and I can’t wait to talk to you today! Hunter goes back to school today. You guys take care and have a great day!!!

Ken and Guys, we are praying for you. As i write this, i’m figuring you are in the middle of your work day! You are serving as God’s hands, back, feet and smiles in one a very beautiful country! Your work has eternal effects. May HIS strength be your strength this week – May HIS love shine all over and through you.

I am praying for you all today as I anxiously await the return of my husband, Art, this evening. Thank you for including him in your work and play. This building trip has been a blessing to him and I know it will be that to you as well. Isn’t it something how God gives joy to the ones who serve Him.
God Bless. Kathryn Jacobs

Hey Guys,
How fun to read your blogs! Thanks for the updates and humor that make us smile. We have been praying diligently for good weather and I’m so glad to hear that once again, the Lord answers prayers! Please know that you all are prayed for daily and appreciated beyond what words can describe. I have said it before, . . . but always want giving men like you to know that HopeHouse continues to grow and meet needs of orphans through families because of people like you and all those who are involved back home. What a wonderful family of volunteers we have. Those who pray, those who donate their resources, those who lead, and those who GO and represent all of us as the hands and feet of Christ. Thank you for your willingness to serve.
Give my brother a big hug for me. I know he’s a great team leader! Please also give hugs fto Yuri, Ira, and Sergei.
Love,
Deneen
