Today we went to an orphanage and visited 90 children between the ages of 4 – 7. The children looked as if they were 2 – 5. We shortened our program just so that we could spend time loving on them. We made sure that each child got a Polaroid picture. Jenny, Brenda, Lauren, Patrick, Joel and Bob have done a wonderful job on the polaroid team. Today was very emotional for all of us as this was the youngest group of children we visited. It is hard to imagine that they may have many more years of this life.

Keep your spirits up and know that God will use each of you in a unique way in these kids lives. They may have more years of this, but hopefully there eternal life will be rescued because of the time you spent with them today.

(for Lauren Keck)Hey there hot stuff! Just stoppin to say hi and comment on how freakin awesome you are and how much we miss you. I’m so jealous. Just reading your Itinerary makes me wish I could be there on this EPIC journey. I mean come on, not only are you getting to bring releif items to orphanages, but you’re SAILING ON THE BLACK SEA!!!!!!!!! Visiting ancient cities and living on a ship. How cool is that? Anyhoo, I just wanted to say how much I love you and miss you sister dear.
Sarah
PS. You’re a sexy beast, and I’ll say hi to 3000 for you. (wink, wink)

(for Lauren Keck)hey beautiful, Life is looking pretty bright right now. It sounds like you’re having fun. Just know you’re in my prayers and although you are sorely missed, I’m glad you’re where you are. I have so much to tell you and can’t wait till your return. Make sure to take some mental pics for me and you can tell me all about them when I see you next. You’re in for some surprises when you return, some rather … interesting changes, but I’ll let your imagination take it from here. I’ve taken up perminent residence in your home and noone seems to mind. I love you much and keep having a blast while you’re there.

Dear Team,
My heart has been filled with so much joy. We have such a Big God and He knew exactly who would be needed for this amazing trip. I love the way he brought you all together each with your special gifts and talents so He can be glorified. I know you are getting emotionally and physically tired. Do not grow weary in doing good…. I pray that the Holy Spirit will move in you and you will feel refreshed. Please know that we are praying over you all. Danielle and Joel let your light shine and remember how much you are loved.

Sweet Wendi and your team – reading the updates makes me think of something Henry Blakaby says in his book, Experiencing God :
” find a place where God is working and join Him”!!!
He is without a doubt working in the orphanages of the Ukraine and now, right alongside you all. What an exciting thought!! “Loving on” the most vulnerable, the most overlooked, “the least of these”… is loving on Him!!! Wendi, your going on this trip was so good and soooo RIGHT! Love you! Marjean

Praying for you guys and wishing I was on the trip this year! Those children are such blessings. I got so attached to so many of them when I was on the Hope House trip last year. God has plans to prosper those kids, not to harm them! Thanks so much for sharing the wonderful news of Jesus with them!
I bet those kids adore you guys!!!
Much love and prayers,

Dear Danille, Joel and Team,
As your sister in Christ, I am so thankful to each one of you for representing our wonderful God to all the children He places in your path. He is so honored that you choose to love and serve Him by caring for these precious boys and girls. We know the Holy Spirit will keep filling you with His strength, love, and wisdom as you face each new experience. God is doing great things through you; always more than we can even imagine when He has obedient and available hearts like yours!
Can’t wait to hear all about it… We love you, Danielle and Joel. Aunt Marybeth
