Four Amigos – Day 4 – Wednesday

Posted on October 9, 2008

The four amigos had a great day yesterdy. The rain finally stopped after lunch. The skies opened up and the rays of the sun warmed our faces. This land is so beautiful. We can see for miles when you are on the roof of the house.

We installed all the sheathing and boards on the roof in preperation for the roof shingles. We will shingle the roof tomorrow.

We worked through lunch yesterday since the skies were clear. It was a blessed day. Thanks for your prayers and emails. All is well here in Hope Village.

Yuri took the guys to the local suana for a treat on Jim’s B day to end a fantastic day.

We are very blessed to help these families. We may visit orphanage tomorrow (Thursday).

We love and miss our families!!!

Hey guys, I hope you are doing good. I hope you have been getting lots of work done during the rain. There has been lots of rain here too. Daddy we love you! We’ve been having fun here. Daddy, are you ok? How much work have you got done? Daddy, we have crabs, one boy and one girl. Daddy, we really love you and really miss you. Tell this to the children, God is watching over you all the time, even when you are asleep and when you are not asleep. God is your Father in Heaven.

Love, Trent (as transcribed by Mommy)

    Hello 4 Amigos!
It was great to get back home to my family, but there is still a part of me that wishes I could be there helping to complete this project. I thank each and everyone of you for your sacrifices to be there continuing the work that needs to be done. God is sure to bless you all! We are praying for your continued safety, good health, good weather, and safe travels home!
Please tell Yuri, Ira, Artur, & Seirga I said hello. Also, pass along a belated *Happy Birthday* to Jim.

Our Mission

HopeHouse International exists so that Orphans in Ukraine can become adopted by Christian couples within their country. Adequate housing is a barrier for most citizens, and it is a government prerequisite for adoption. HopeHouse International enables adoptions by addressing adequate housing needs which result in three or more children being given a family and a future.
