update

Posted on October 14, 2007

Our 1st train ride is nearing completion. Although exhausted, we had a great time touring the city of Kiev. We were able to meet up with the Band of Brothers for lunch yesterday. We met our guide Yuri yesyerday as well. He has been a wonderful host and tour guide. We are excited to get to work. Thank you for your prayers!

    Hey Guys,
Glad to hear that you got in safely and hopefully got some rest on the train. The HH Prayer Team has been specifically praying for good weather for you guys this week as well as for your safety and health. I trust it’s going to be an incredible week on many levels and we can’t wait to follow it through your updates. Mark and I thank each of you for your sacrifice of resources and time to go and serve this family and help our ministry continue and grow.
Ken, I’m really proud of you for taking the lead and for recruiting such a great group of men. Andrew says, “Uncle Kenny, I know that you’re doing a good job leading the team. I hope you guys have a good day today”. We love you! Give a big hug to Yuri!

Glad to hear that you all made it safely although I am sure you are exhausted. I pray that the Lord gives you a good nights rest, you are going to need it(ha,ha). Be diligent in watching for God’s miracles, they could be large or they could be small. Just know that he is doing great things and he wants to use you in many ways so be open to the guiding of the Holy Spirit. Thanks again for all you are doing to help grow Hopehouse. Ken, was the KGB kind to you and the team?

Our Mission

HopeHouse International exists so that Orphans in Ukraine can become adopted by Christian couples within their country. Adequate housing is a barrier for most citizens, and it is a government prerequisite for adoption. HopeHouse International enables adoptions by addressing adequate housing needs which result in three or more children being given a family and a future.
