Team update – part 2

Posted on June 14, 2006

We sang, prayed, shared, laughed and bonded yet again. During our final prayer Gene Schamko asked us to think of the names of children that were imprinted in our minds and hearts and when prompted during the prayer to say them out loud. It was very moving to hear the names of Sasha, Misha, Natasha, Alex, and all of the others during the prayer. Please keep adding the comments, they are very meaningful to us and we are reading them. Thank you for praying for us we are feeling it!

I am glad to hear everything is going so well there. It sounds like God is moving in each of your lives in amazing ways. We all miss you and can’t wait to hear about all the great stories. Tell Andrea that I love her very much and the house is too quiet without her. Asia has also been really fussy while she has been gone. She keeps waking me up around 7 am every morning with constant meowing.

Our Mission

HopeHouse International exists so that Orphans in Ukraine can become adopted by Christian couples within their country. Adequate housing is a barrier for most citizens, and it is a government prerequisite for adoption. HopeHouse International enables adoptions by addressing adequate housing needs which result in three or more children being given a family and a future.
