Kiev – Last Day

Posted on June 17, 2006

Today we went to the Chernobyl Childrens Hospital and visited close to 200 kids. There was only small percentage of orphans, the rest were from families affected by Chernobyl. We did our full program outside, and we were not rushedl. There were many tears and sad hearts as we packed up for the last time. We have seen a lot of miracles this week, the weather has been great, no one has been sick and this group of 30 people have acted like family the entire time. Your parayers have sustained us. Thank you!

We’re home! I just wanted to personally send my thanks to all who prayed for us before and during this journey. God does hear our prayers and this trip was again confirmation of His faithfulness to those who seek Him and His will.

There are not enough words to express my love and gratitude to my fellow team members for thier comfort, support, hard work, love and friendship this past week. Each of you in your special way showed me more of what our incredible God Looks like. I will miss you all. I’ll be loving and praying for each of you.

    Love,
    Tracy (aka “Flower” the clown)

Our Mission

HopeHouse International exists so that Orphans in Ukraine can become adopted by Christian couples within their country. Adequate housing is a barrier for most citizens, and it is a government prerequisite for adoption. HopeHouse International enables adoptions by addressing adequate housing needs which result in three or more children being given a family and a future.
